For the first time in a while we've got new stuff to grind for in World of Tanks. Holiday Ops offers not only a persistent credits bonus, but also a persistent 50% XP bonus. That means inconjuction with personal reserves and x5 missions (clan reserves too if you're lucky) you can really accelerate your grind.
Tier 11
Most obviously we have an entirely new tier and to unlock those tanks you're going to need to grind your Tier Xs to 320,000 or so XP. Eventually I'll probably unlock them all, but I've watched some reviews and done some thinking about which of the Tier 11s look best for my playstyle and I'm prioritizing the Hacker (Tier 11 USA MT), KR-1 (Tier 11 USSR HT), and Object 432U (Tier 11 USSR MT).
That means I need to grind the M48 Patton, IS-7, and Object 430 so I'm trying to get a few games a day in each of those tanks.
New USA MT tree
In January there will be a new tree of USA nedium tanks, branching off the T20, the current USA Tier 7 MT. Estimates are you'll need about 120K XP to unlock the first one so I've been getting some games in the T20 to bank some XP on it.
Field mods and crews
Even if you're not interested in any of those tanks you might be interested in improving your existing tanks. Holiday Ops is a good time to grind field mods, or switch the Holiday Ops bonus to crew and grind your crew skills.
Enjoy the bonuses! If history holds they'll last until the first or second week of January.
