Some quick notes on World of Tanks for February 21st, 2026
Got the Ashigaru
We had an Assembly Shop earlier in the week and I have a lot of resources available so I decided to go ahead and get an Ashigaru. Besides, lately I've been enjoying wheeled snipers so why not.
I've only played a couple of games in it by my initial impression is...kinda meh. It doesn't hit that hard for a Tier 10 TD (only like 390 alpha) and with the cooldown period you can't really bring the DPM to bear at range.
So, ok. It's not terrible, but not the best tank I own either.
But I'm no longer a collector
I've pretty much decided that I'm not a collector anymore. I have about 750 tanks in the garage, but I don't play most of them. Unless something is really interesting or unique I'm not feeling as compelled to go get it anymore. 🤷♂️
Speaking of wheeled snipers
Lately I've gone back to playing some of the UK wheeled MTs and sort of enjoying them. The Concept 5 has a great gun (better than the Ashigaru maybe) and I'm really kinda finding the wheeled Brit MTs fun to play.
