Took a bit of a break from blogging because I got busy and wasn't sure I had much to say. But I'm going to try and start posting a few little things here and there again.
Since last we spoke I've added quite a few tanks to the garage. I'm up to 38 now and I have most of the mid-tier light tanks as well as a few more heavies and TDs. The one class I'm really not playing these days is arty.

Don't be that guy
On Lakeville this morning I played middle road from the north spawn (not my favorite) in my VK 28.01 and spotted a few things, but ultimately got pushed and lit by the enemy T-37. From that bush getting lit is basically death. You can try to run but you're going to lose most of your hit points unless the other team is totally asleep. Sure enough I got killed.
This was a little frustrating because I told my team during the countdown I was going to spot there and asked for some backup. Got a couple of "Affirmatives" but ultimately...no backup. The only thing that really saves a LT who gets lit there is having a medium or two behind it to suppress the guys shooting at the LT so the LT can escape. Ultimately two of our heavies were still wandering around near the spawn and nobody came down the road to help.
To add insult to injury, literally, some doofus in a BatChat who had gone VALLEY (valley push in a high tier light?) started calling me names for getting killed.
Seriously folks, if one of your teammates gets killed making a play, try not to be a dick. Good rule for life, really. :)
