This whole week Wargaming has an event happening called "The Swedish Four" where you can earn stuff: XP, consumables, and ultimately a quality Swedish Medium crew, in preparation for the release of the upcoming Swedish medium tanks. Note that you do NOT have to do the mission requirements in Swedish tanks; any tier 4 or higher, from any nation, works. So if you want to play your Object 430 for these missions you can.
The event is fine, the rewards are very good, but the requirements are surprisingly high. For example: If you get 15K XP, you can get a 10K XP reward. And you can repeat it every day. Couple things about that:
1. That's cool but...it resets every day. So you have to get 15K XP in 24 hours. If you've got time that's cool, but it will likely take at least a couple of hours of grinding to achieve that. For working folks, a little hard. Lot of folks with jobs or families only get to play 30-60 minutes a day. I wish it were 15K XP, and you can do it once per day, but your progress doesn't reset. So if it takes you three days to finish one, so be it.
2. I like that it makes you be top 10 in XP on your team in order for it to count. That makes it a lot harder for bots to achieve it.
3. Note that the 10K XP goes on whatever tank you finish the mission in. So be sure you're watching your progress and play the tank you want it to apply to as you get close enough.
To earn the quality Swedish crew you'll have to deal at least 180K damage during the event (and at least 30K per day) - so that one isn't an easy grind either.

"Another Noob Team"
Just finished a battle on Empire's Border. Somebody in chat commented during the countdown "Great, another noob team." And sure enough our team were mostly lemons and apricots (according to XVM) while the other team had a handful of limes to go along with their lemons.
We won 15-3. Any given Sunday.
Won a TS-5
I signed in last night and discovered a TS-5 had been added to my account. I won it on Guido1212's stream! Thanks Guido and Domo for gifting me the tank. Slow TDs aren't my favorite class, but I'm definitely looking forward to learning more with it. Played it once so far, wasn't super impressed with the pen, but the reload is nice and fast and accuracy isn't bad, given what it is.
I'll have a Tank Review of it one of these days.
GLHF!
