A few random thoughts about WOT on this Sunday...
Use the Boosters
If you've got 1000 boosters in your depot...what are you saving them for?! Seriously, between scavenger hunts and other missions you can earn boosters almost as fast as you can use them. Get them going and reap the extra XP, extra crew training, and extra credits.
Only going to play a couple of battles? You've probably got a 50%, 1 hour, booster sitting around. Just run it.
"I don't want to waste them!"
O.K., but you're wasting them by letting them gather dust in your depot. A booster is only worth something when it's running.
Use the boosters. You'll earn more.
Frontline Season 4
Season 4 of Frontline wraps up today and I have to say that it's been pretty successful for me. I've had the house to myself most of the week (family on a trip) so I've gotten to play quite a bit, and I've earned about 12 million credits so far (see: use the boosters) and gotten some great crew training done.
Crew training in Frontline
Everybody knows Frontline is great for grinding credits. But I've found it EXTREMELY valuable for grinding crew too. Pop a 200% or 300% crew training booster, put the crew you're trying to train in a premium tank, and go get it. I've managed to train several noob crews deep into their 2nd skill this week, and that translates to better performance in randoms later.
Using Good Gear IRL
I sometimes get frustrated when I play World of Tanks, and occasionally that manifests with a hard slap on the keyboard. I'm trying to work on not doing that. :)
I have to say that I'm impressed though, that these Logitech gaming keyboards take a beating and keep on going.
Sheridan On Track
While we were all busy with Frontline, the Sheridan (Tier X USA LT) On Track started in WoT. During the On Tracks the entire line goes on sale and I've gotten into the habit of rebuying tech tree tanks I enjoyed but may have sold when I finished the grind. I liked most of the USA light tanks and I still have most of them, but I took the opportunity to re-buy the T37. It's on my backlog of tank reviews to do. :)
