Supporting this blog

Just a quick post to talk about this blog for a second.

First off, as you might suspect, this isn't my full-time job. I have a day job with a major software company - this blog is more of a hobby. That said I have had a few people ask how they can support the blog. So...

Supporting the blog...

This blog will never have sign-ins or subscriptions required to access the content. As long as Blogger exists and lets me host this blog for free, access to the content will be free. We don't collect your info, we don't know who you are, and so we can't (and wouldn't) sell your info or profile to anybody.

That said if you find the content valuable and you'd like to support the blog there are a few ways you can do so.

Patreon

I've set up a Patreon page for the blog and you can find the link on each page. If you're inspired to do so, click that link and subscribe at whatever level you feel comfortable with. At the moment I'm not offering extra goodies for patrons, but if there's enough demand I'll certainly consider creating some Patron merch or other benefits.

Google Ads

I get a few cents a month from the ads that appear on this blog. If you see an ad that interests you, click on it. Then I get a couple more cents.

Amazon Associates

Occasionally I'll add an Amazon link to an article for related merchandise. Tank models, interesting books or videos, that kind of thing. I only post links to merch that seems relevant or interesting to tanks and WoT players/enthusiasts. If you see something that might interest you...click the link and consider buying it. I get a few cents from each purchase.

I only put links on some articles, and rarely more than 1 or 2, so hopefully it won't be intrusive or annoying.

Spread the word

The more readers I have the more ad views I get and maybe the more patrons I'll get and...even better...the more of a community we can build. So if you find the content valuable, please let others know about it. Share links to articles you find especially valuable or interesting.

Participate!

Feedback helps a LOT. So if you see something in an article that you're moved to comment on please leave something in the comments section below. Whether you agree with what I said, or especially if you didn't! I love to learn too, so please do share your knowledge or ideas.

That's all for now, I don't intend to bug you to subscribe or donate so this may be the last I say about it.

Let's get back to the tanks!

GLHF!
