The Tier 8 on the Italian tank destroyer line in World of Tanks is the SMV CC-67. Before I say anything about it, here's what Skill had to say:
My opinion
I think Skill is exactly right. It's very very good. Even stock it's quite good. The frontal armor is pleasantly bouncy (but not invincible, so don't go in front recklessly), and the gun is quite good. The very first shot I fired in this thing, with the stock gun, was a snapshot on a moving Bourrasque...and it hit.
Standard penetration is very good, mobility is surprisingly good (though I am running a Turbo), and for an autoloader the reload time is not bad at all.
Don't let people get to your side or rear if you can help it, but if you can keep everything in front, you'll like this tank.
Equipment
It's an autoloader so you can't run a rammer. For me the choice was pretty easy - Vents, Improved Aiming, and Turbo. I can see an argument for Improved rotation or hardening. Not much point in optics or binocs - this is not a sniper tank.
Same with camo net or low noise exhaust - you're not going to hide from anybody.
Crew
I'd train the crew the same way you do in any assault TD like the TS-5 or the Tortoise. The commander is the radio operator in this tank, by the way...
- Commander: Sixth Sense, BIA, Repairs, Situational Awareness...
- Gunner: BIA, Repairs, Snap shot
- Driver: BIA, Off-road driving, Smooth ride, Repairs, Clutch braking...
- Loader: BIA, Safe stowage, Repairs, Intution
I always train the skills first, then once my commander has 6th sense and another 100% skill I reset and train BIA, Sixth sense, then re-start that skill as the 3rd.
GLHF!
