Power of Positivity in World of Tanks - Part 2

Time for another month of World of Tanks positivity! There's too much toxicity in the game. It sucks to get negative toxic messages, but it's nice to receive positive messages. Nice to send them too. So...for the next 30 days* I'm going to try and send at least one positive post-game message per day to somebody in a battle I was in. Either on my team, or preferably, the other team.

I'll keep a log down below with the messages I've sent.

I encourage you to give it a try too!

  • 1 - Teams didn't make it easy on me. Went the entire hour without a single win, or even really many competitive teams. Enemies had it so easy I couldn't find anybody remarkable to praise there. In the final game (another loss, of course) of the session, though, Our Standard B bravely took a spotting bush and did a nice job spotting the entire south of the map.

"Nice job spotting in that Malinovka game. You were a rare bright spot in that one. gg."

  • 2 - Enemy ISU-152 snapped a kill shot into my cupola on El Halluf.

    "
Nice shot in that El Halluf game. Thought I was going to be able to back up fast enough, but you got me. gg."

  • 3 - The SU-100M1 and I were the only two who went town on Highway so rather than push we dug in and tried to hold them off. Team lost badly, of course, but we put up a good fight, 2 v 7, before we were overrun.

"Thanks for supporting town in that Highway game. Too bad we didn't get any help. :-) gg!"

  • - To the enemy Type 62 with really good camo who had the entire North side of the map spotted.

"You did a really nice job spotting North in that Airfield game. Too bad your team didn't give you much help. gg!"

  • 5 - To a STRV 103-0 on my team who pushed late to spot and clean up the south in a game we were trailing 2-7 but came back to win 15-10.

"Thanks for leading that south push on the Studzianki game. That helped us seal the comeback win. gg"

  • 6 (back from time off) - To an EVEN 90 on the other team that was very aggressive spotting and had us on the back foot from almost the beginning.

"Great job scouting on that Sand River game. You pretty much won that for your team. gg."

NOTE: Due to family obligations during the holidays I probably won't be able to play much during Thanksgiving week. I'll pick this back up when I'm back in-game after Thanksgiving.

  • 7 (Haven't been very consistent) - To a VK 30.01 P on our team who pretty much carried.

"Well-played, gg!" (Boring, I know, but he appreciated it)

  • (Have been VERY inconsistent) - To an EVEN 90 on the enemy team who did a great job of shielding himself and killing me.

"Nice work on that Live Oaks game. You did a really smart job of shielding yourself from my team. Well-played. gg."

  • 9 - To a Minotauro on the other team who killed me with blind shots (while my team hid on the red line not getting shots).

Nice job with the blind shots in that Prok game. I knew that was a risky bush, but my team was camping A line so... :-) Anyhow, gg. Happy holidays.

  • 10 - To an enemy SMC CC-64 who took a solid hull-down position on Berlin and bounced a ton of shots from me.

"You did a nice job playing hull-down on that Berlin game. Well-played. gg"

  • 11 - To the enemy T-150 on Prok who pretty much single-handedly held us off for a draw (and got me in a 1v1 at the end).

Nice work in that Prok game. Well-played. gg

  • 12 - To the enemy STRV m/42-57 who made a nice flanking mode to get a draw for his team.

That was a nice move going wide around the mountain at the end of that Cliff game. Well-played. gg

  • 13 - To an enemy E 75 TS who took the hill on Mines and kept his team fairly competitive (we still won).

You played that Mines game very well. Nice job not overexposing and working the position. gg
