I've decided that the Tier VI British LT the Crusader is one of the hardest tanks in World of Tanks to get marks of excellence on. Not because the expectation values are particularly high, but because marking a tank is largely about consistency.
A big component of what a light tank does is spotting and assisting damage. At tier 6 the teams can vary pretty widely - I've had games where I spot 10 enemies and keep them lit for extended periods, only to end up with 130 total assisting because my team couldn't shoot anything.
That can happen at higher tiers too but at low tiers 130 damage might be two shots. At higher tiers 2 shorts could be 1,000 damage. Still low, but not quite as bad.
When you get one of those teams where inexperienced low-tier players can't shoot then you have to depend on your gun to put up a good score and the Crusader's gun is pretty weak.
Don't get me wrong, it's a fun tank, and a decent spotter...but fairly often you're going to be frustrated when your team melts while they try to figure out what the left mouse button does and that makes it harder to mark.
GLHF!
