For some reason the angry "ALL YOU FUCKERS UNINSTALL!" guys are out in force this morning. Started with an O-I who got mad that I didn't suiscout the 8 line on Province in my Type 64, then a group on Ghost Town who spent half the battle screaming obscenities at our Standard B and a Cent 7/1 who were being too passive in their opinion.
The O-I even felt strongly enough about it to send me more "UNINSTALL LOSER!" messages in DMs afterwards. As if I wasn't already going to add him to my blacklist.
Seriously folks, it's a game. Don't be that guy.

So let's talk about Province
Province is a map that you can only get in the lower tiers these days, and it tends to be pretty campy. The reason for that is that it's a map that heavily favors the defense from both spawns.
Where teams get themselves into trouble is if they overextend - especially on the opposite side from their spawn. Generally speaking you want to push the side you spawn on and fast tanks can cross to the other side and advance carefully. But the team that wins this map is USUALLY the team that sits back a bit and lets the enemy make mistakes.
CM1994's video above shows basically this strat. I will offer one word of caution - good players will blind fire the bush he's sitting in. I once went there in a STRV S1 at the start, and got blind one-shot by an FV4005 in the first 30 seconds of the game. LOL
In my game this morning three of our team YOLO'd one side or the other and all three were dead in the first 90 seconds of the battle. Already down 0-3 the battle didn't improve and we ended up losing 4-15. I did ok damage, but got zero spotting (because the enemy didn't push and my teammates didn't shoot the few things I could spot).
I'm not a fan of Province generally, and it's a map that rewards judicious use of the W key.
The Object 430 - I want to love it
A few weeks ago I got the Object 430, the tier 9 Russian medium.
Everybody says it's a great tank, borderline OP. The stats look great (except for gun depression) but somehow I'm not great in it. It feels a bit slow to me, and the shell velocity isn't great. The turret armor is god-like, but getting people to shoot me in the turret hasn't been that easy. I need to do a better job of staying hulldown I guess. I have my prime Russian MT crew in it but still...I'm not comfortable in this tank yet.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not doing badly in it, I'm just not quite as thrilled as I expected to be. I'm sure I just need more time in it. I've only played half a dozen battles so far in it (3-3 record) and I'm averaging a mediocre ~2100 combined.
Hopefully once I learn to play it a bit better I'll be happier with it.
GLHF!
