Autoloader: Brave new rocks in WOT

AutoLoader is a series where I offer a few random thoughts about World of Tanks...

Trying stuff in World of Tanks

I'm at a place currently where in a lot of battles I just try stuff. It gets boring going to the same rock, the same bush, the same hill battle after battle. So now, fairly often, when I load in I look around the map and think..."I wonder what would happen if I went over there?"

Sometimes that works out, a lot of times it doesn't. But it's interesting and I feel like I'm getting a more well-rounded perspective on the game and the maps.

Like just now on Karelia Standard I took my T92 to the bush around J7/K7 that Dauntless talks about in this video. I lit about 6 of the enemy tanks...my team did a total of 139 damage to them in a 2-15 loss. But...I was able to get pretty good vision on that whole East side and didn't get spotted until an enemy IS-2-II was within 70m of me.

Lesson: I should have fallen back as soon as they won the hill.

Two steps forward, one step back

Trying to mark a light tank...but getting too many games like that Karelia game above. Find a good spot, light a bunch of enemies, and wait...wait...wait...Sometimes it's great and you get a couple K assist, but too often you get 139 assist while your team can't shoot anything.

Ah well. Overall I'm still going up on the mark...just much more slowly than I'd like. #LightTankLife
