Fixing Homefront in World of Tanks

I gave a bit of thought to what I would do to fix Homefront in World of Tanks and I have two ideas:


1. A bit more balance

An all Tier I battle is fine. An all (or even mostly) Tier II battle is probably fine. Where things get dicey is when you have a single Tier III tank in the game; especially if all the rest are Tier Is. Then what you get is 10 waves, including waves with multiple Tigers or Panthers, and 80% of your team has to try and fight them off with tier 3/4 junkwagons.

It's almost impossible to win that way, and it's not that much fun for the guys in the junkwagons.

If they could limit the games where Tier III tanks get matched with all Tier Is that would help. Or if they said that you don't get the 10 wave games until there are multiple Tier III/II tanks on a team, that might help.

Otherwise the Tier I tanks are just lambs to the slaughter, and the Tier III tank doesn't get much help.

2. A few incremental rewards

One problem with the game now is that you play 2-5 battles a day, but while you're doing that you don't really earn much. Sure you make grindy progress towards a distant promise of gear or maybe camo styles. That's fine. But otherwise you sit in that battle (especially if you're unlucky enough to get paired with a Tier III tank; see above) for quite a while not earning credits, XP, or training crew.

I'd like to see them add a per battle credit reward. Even if it was just 20,000 credits or something like that. At least you'd be getting something for all those grindy battles, that are sometimes frustrating. Maybe they could work out a scale where it's 50,000 for the top player, 40,000 for #2, 30,000 for #3, etc.
