I'm a bit confused by these pending tech tree changes. I get that some low tier tanks will be removed from the tech tree and become "Collector tanks" that people will be able to just buy for credits after unlocking at least one tier VI tank of that nation. Simplifies the tech tree, and makes them easier to get for folks who really want them.
What I don't get is the high tier tanks. The AMX 30, AMX 30B, and T-62A, for example. Those are tier IX/X tanks and they're saying that those tanks will also be available for purchase with credits?
So...these tier IX and X tanks will be purchasable for credits, at any time, without grinding them?

If this change is implemented into the game, these vehicles, including Tiers VI–X, will be available for purchase with Credits. Players can buy them any time after the potential update goes live thereby eliminating the rush to research these vehicles. https://worldoftanks.com/en/news/updates/sandbox-closer-0220/

That doesn't make any sense.
I can understand if they're going to be reward tanks - like for Frontline or other events. I could understand if they're going to be withheld and only offered during special events like Loot Boxes or Black Market or something.
But just available in the Collectors Store for credits, with no grind? Tier IX/X?
Really?
