New Kids in the Tank - The next generation

I've commented on this before, but I'll just quickly reiterate it...in my opinion one of the reasons for so many lopsided battles in World of Tanks is how quickly inexperienced players get in over their heads by racing up the tiers too quickly.

This morning I had a game on Serene Coast. A 5-15 loss in under 6 minutes. Not that surprising when you look at the end plates and discover that these three guys in red...

...have fewer than 1600 battles TOTAL (and the Emil has >1200 of them). They're each 43%-45% players...and the reason isn't hard to understand. They're brand new to the game and have jumped into the deep end and are playing Tier 8 before they even know the maps.

The GSOR received 9 hits, but never even fired a single shot. The Emil fired exactly 1 clip. The SkorpG fired 4 shots and didn't do a single point of damage.

It can't be much fun for them to stagger around unfamilar maps like baby elephants getting slaughtered while their teammates call them rude names in chat.

Please folks, don't be in a hurry to play higher tiers. Learn the game at tiers 4-6 first. Spend 10K battles down there if you have to. Believe me you'll have more fun at tier 8+ when you have some understanding of the game and aren't just getting rolled by more experienced players all the time.

We were all new at the game once.
